Eclipse

My love for being a woman truly never slips.

Thinking about yoga pants as I trace my lips,

I wonder how they fit so well on these hips.

I can’t ask for a better life; there is no eclipse.

  1. Hi Lauren! Thanks for following me. I hope that you enjoy the stories I craft and the little thoughts that trickle out of my head. Having been where you are, I’d like to share a little advice.

First, the pouty lips thing is silly. You’re beautiful and there’s no need for affectations like that. A smile is much sexier and more attractive, but more than that, it’s warm, natural and genuine. It shows that you’re more comfortable being the woman that you are and you’re not trying to force anything. You’re just showing us who you are inside and out, and that’s who we really want to see.

Second, it’s going to be hard, but keep going. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. You’re going to encounter challenges that require you to make choices about being who you are and how much of that you’re going to share with the world. When you’re faced with two options and one is going to make your life harder in the short term, but it makes you happy, and the other is going to make your life easier in the short term, but doesn’t make you happy, always pick the harder one. Being true to yourself will always make you happier and feel more at peace with yourself, and in the end, life should be joyous, content, and satisfying.

Be who you are, Lauren. Let your light shine. Be brilliant.

    Hugs,
    Aleson
